Ex-BYZANTINE Bassist Working On New THE BURT REYNOLDS DEATH METAL EXPERIMENT LP

February 5, 2008

Not one to rest on his laurels, former BYZANTINE bassist and new father, Michael "Skip" Cromer, under the guise of THE BURT REYNOLDS DEATH METAL EXPERIMENT, has begun work on his follow-up to 2006's "The Definitive Collection Volume 2". Slated for an early spring release, his sophomore effort promises more of the same offensive humor and egotistical mayhem as you would expect from this one-man band. "Outdated Format", as this one is called, sports a parody of a famous well-known album cover, and will be available on CD, cassette, minidisc, 8-track and even on vinyl itself. For those of you willing to part with a little more money, there will also be a limited serial numbered special autographed edition. Also in the works to accompany the new release is a "Video Album" to feature videos for all the tracks as well as "The Burt Reynolds Video Game Experiment". Still in the planning stage is the bio/performance film "King of the Unrequested Encore" and an action figure (with Fung Ku grip).
